Igneous Rocks
Igneous rocks are formed from the cooling of lava. Obsidian is an example of an igneous rock.
Sedimentary Rocks
Sedimentary rocks are formed over time when bits of sediments form together into one big rock. An example of a sedimentary rock is jasper.
Metamorphic rocks form when other types of rocks(igneous and sedimentary) get pushed under the pressure.
