Virginia is where my sister Teara Gross lives. The first english village was Jamestown,VA(abbreviation for Virginia) which was founded in 1607. Presidents George Washington,Thomas Jefferson,and James Madison were from Virginia. Tobacco has been grown for many years in Virginia. The first peanuts grown in America were from Virginia. Every year people visit Mount Vernon,George Washington's old family home. Charles Darwin was born in The Mount Shrewsbury,United Kingdom on February 12,1809. He worked as a naturalist. He rode the Beagle to South America and the Galapagos Islands. African Animals: Pangolins

Pangolins are animals that live in the African Savannah and Asia. Pangolins are great defenders. They're covered in hard scales that are so hard that a lions jaw can't pry them open. Pangolins eat a variety of insects. A pangolin's top speed is 3 mph. Pangolin's predators are large cats like clouded leopards.

Queen Elizabeth the 1st

Queen Elizabeth the 1st was born on September 7, 1533 in Greenwich,England. She was the daughter of King Henry and Anne Boleyn. Elizabeth was only 13 when her father King Henry died. On January 15, 1559 she was crowned queen at age 25. in 1562 she managed to survive the disease smallpox. She was a huge fan of William Shakespeare's plays Elizabeth died on March 24, 1603 in Richmond,England. She was buried at Westmister, Abby.
